About GardnWise
Helping homeowners grow beautiful lawns and gardens — one article at a time.
Our Story
GardnWise was born out of frustration. Like many homeowners, our founder spent years battling patchy grass, stubborn weeds, and a vegetable garden that refused to cooperate — despite hours of research across confusing, contradictory websites.
The problem wasn't a lack of information — it was too much information with no clear guidance. In 2022, we decided to fix that by building the resource we always wished existed: a single, trusted source for practical, easy-to-follow lawn and garden advice.
Today, GardnWise publishes over 50 in-depth guides and newsletters trusted by more than 12,000 homeowners across North America. Our mission is simple: help you grow a lawn and garden you're genuinely proud of — without the overwhelm.
What We Stand For
Accuracy First
We research every article carefully, citing best practices from horticulture and agronomy experts. We'd rather publish less and get it right than churn out content that misleads you.
Practical Over Theoretical
Beautiful theory means nothing if it doesn't work in your yard. We focus on real-world techniques tested by actual homeowners, not laboratory conditions.
Seasonally Relevant
Your lawn's needs change with the seasons. We time our content calendar around what matters most right now — so you're always acting at the right moment.
No Selling Out
We occasionally link to products we genuinely recommend, but we're not a product review site in disguise. Our editorial stays honest and independent.
